COACHMANS BEST BITTER ABV 3.7%

A smooth, stronger than average, cask conditioned beer. Full bodied, with a rich malty flavour and a touch of fruit, balanced by the aroma and flavour of Golding hops.

INNKEEPERS SPECIAL RESERVE ABV 4.5%

A truly magnificent ruby coloured beer of premium strength, with a very full malty palate, balanced by a crisp hop flavour and a lingering hoppy aftertaste. As smooth as cream but not for the unwary!

GUNPOWDER STRONG MILD ABV 3.8%

A stronger than expected mild. Very dark, with a full flavour and a slightly bitter aftertaste, this places mild in the forefront of cask-conditioned beers again. It has a fullness, which as its name suggests lets you know it's there. A very frequent medal winner at the Great British Beer Festival.

POST HORN PREMIUM ALE ABV 5.0%

A rich golden coloured smooth premium ale. Brewed with a full malt mash, this beer has a robust malty palate and well-balanced steely bitterness producing a massive complexity of flavours. A former Champion Premium Beer of Britain

DICK TURPIN PREMIUM BITTER ABV 4.2%

A stronger than average session beer, with a mellow hoppy nose and smooth aftertaste. It has a full toffee like malty palate and has an exceptional appearance in the glass.

HONEYPOT ABV 3.8%

A medium bodied golden bitter, lightly hopped. Brewed with pure Cheshire honey, which adds a luscious silkiness to a fine beer.

GINGER NUT PREMIUM BEER ABV 5.0%

A pale, lightly coloured beer but of premium strength, with the added kick of a touch of real Jamaican ginger.

FLINT LOCK PALE ALE ABV 4.4%

A very pale golden beer, light on the palate with a touch of sweetness in the finish, it is a traditionally brewed beer, hopped with Yeoman hops for bitterness and German hops for aroma. An exceptional addition to the range.

DUCKWORTH’S DELIGHT ABV 4.3 %

A medium coloured golden brew named after the Warrington born cricketer George Duckworth. Well balanced with a mellow hoppy nose and a lingering hoppy after taste.

CROMWELLS BEST BITTER ABV 4.0 %

Named after Oliver Cromwell whose statue stands in Warrington Town, the beer is amber coloured and well balanced with a smooth, clean hopped finish.

FARRIERS BEST BITTER ABV 3.9%

A smooth tawny coloured beer, slightly sweet on first taste but the rich hop flavours develop in the mouth. Brewed with the finest Maris Otter malt and Admiral hops from Worcester. A super beer.

Brewed in February for Valentines Day. A fruity bitter, fairly sweet, with a very dry after taste, A well balanced beer.

REGAL BIRTHDAY ALE ABV 4.7 %

Brewed in April for Her Majesty's Birthday. A rich sumptuous ale, the fruity taste from the ferment well balanced by the delicate hop aroma and finish.

RABBIT PUNCH ABV 4.2 %

Produced once a year to commemorate Easter. A medium coloured bitter with heavy malt overtones and a sweet palate. The old English hops provide a subtle balance.

THREE KINGS CHRISTMAS ALE ABV 6.0 %

A strong hoppy and fruity Christmas Ale with a pronounced bitterness. Improves with age when malt and almond flavours begin to develop.

WIZARDS WONDER HALLOWEEN ALE ABV 4.2%

A medium coloured full-bodied beer. Dry and fruity with a clean dry hopped aftertaste.

CRACKER BARREL BONFIRE BITTER ABV 4.6 %

A full-bodied, richly flavoured beer with fruit and hops the dominant flavours. A very well balanced beer with a tawny colour, dangerously drinkable.

COMBINE HARVESTER ABV 5.1 %

A strong pale golden bitter brewed to celebrate harvest. The beer has a distinctive hoppy nose and a slightly bitter aftertaste, complimented by background sweetness.

THE FOUR NATIONS BEERS

BURNS AULDE SLEEKIT ABV 5.5%

Available in January to celebrate Burns Night. A pale golden beer in which the malty and fruity flavours are well balanced by the subtlety of hops from New Zealand. The complex flavours linger on the palate and it has both a sweet and bitter finish at the same time. A warming and soothing ale and a fitting accompaniment to the wild Haggis.

DEWI SANT HERITAGE ALE ABV 4.7%

Available in March to celebrate St. David's Day. A rich ale with balanced fruit and bitterness. Nicely hopped to give a pleasant aroma and a slightly dry palate.

St PATRICK’S LEPRECHAUN ALE ABV 4.7 %

Brewed in March for St. Patrick's Day. Full bodied and as smooth as green velvet. A hint of cinnamon and apple on the palate with a good hoppy finish.

ST. GEORGE'S HERITAGE ALE ABV 4.9 %

Brewed in April for St. George's Day. A medium coloured bitter that drinks with a creamy texture and finishes long and hoppy.

SEASONAL BEERS

SQUIRES GOLD SPRING ALE ABV 4.2%

A Golden Spring Ale. New Zealand hops give an intense steely bitterness, which is followed by a strong chocolate/ coffee flavour from old Amber malt. Uncompromising and full of character.

OSTLERS SUMMER PALE ALE ABV 4.0 %

Distinctive light golden coloured beer fully fermented to give a dry clean taste. German aroma hops are used in this summer ale to give the impression of a lager aroma.

TAVERNERS AUTUMN ALE ABV 5.0 %

A gold coloured beer, fruity and bitter, with a light dry aftertaste. Fully fermented to produce a very drinkable beer at this gravity. Warming and autumnal.

BLUNDERBUS OLD PORTER ABV 5.5 %

Champion Porter of Britain 1993 and 1994, Runner up to Supreme Champion of Britain 1994. A superb winter beer, massive mouth feel and as black as night. The beer is a faithful reproduction of an old porter discovered in the archives.

SUMMER SIZZLER ABV 4.2 %

A Golden Summer Ale, medium bodied with a touch of sweetness and a superb appearance in the glass.

COUNTDOWN ABV 4,7 %

A traditional mellow best bitter, smooth and soft on the palate and with a hop aroma which has a hint of blackcurrant in the background.

BLUEBERRY,RASPBERRY,STRAWBERRY,CRANBERRY ABV 5.0 %

All the fruit beers are very pale in colour with a light delicate bitterness and the natural flavour of the individual fruit.

CINNAMON ABV 4.2 %

A medium coloured bitter smooth and slightly sweet and the distinctive warm flavour and aroma of cinnamon.

XMAS PUDDING ABV 4.4 %

Available at Christmas, a premium beer redolent with flavour and aroma of Christmas pudding , has to be tasted to be believed.
